Keep Calm and Travel on

Good Morning! My main hobby and passion in life has always been to Travel. In my 43 years I’ve been fortunate to visit 93 countries so far!! I believe travel is one of life ‘s great luxuries and pleasures. When I was a kid my favorite subject was Geography. We had this giant globe in our living room and my father gifted me one when I was seven years old. I would spin and stare at my globe for hours! It was so cool to me to just pick random countries and look them up in my encyclopedia’s. I’ve always wanted to travel outside of where I was born and raised. My father took me out of our city every weekend to go camping, hunting, and  fishing.  Those were great trips for me growing up because I got to see something different in the same four national parks we often visited. I grew up close to Yosemite and every weekend long drives to Mammoth Lakes, Sequoia National Park and The Redwood forest were pretty common. My weekends were spent in those beautiful parks camping , fishing , and foraging .I love being around nature and  that’s never going to change. I love to plan trips.I have a list of about twenty countries I want to see but here’s my Top 10 (in No order) Easter Island,  Socotra Islands, Greenland, Madagascar, Iran, Borneo, The Congo, Komodo Island, Thailand, Mongolia.Of course I want to see some far off remote places that seem dangerous or weird .What fascinates me is many of these islands and countries have flora, fauna and animal species endemic to these places and that is something I would  love to explore, see and study. I didn’t go into depth about some of my recent travels ,I’m just now finding the joy in writing and sharing this with you all. This last trip to Costa Rica where I went deep into the Corcovado Rainforest was so incredible. It’s an intense feeling to be so deep and far out into the wild! You really feel so small and see life from so many different perspectives. It was an incredible feeling of being calm but alive to feel nature so intensely. I’m not going to lie though I need to get back to the city after a few days and nights of sleeping in the jungle! I miss the sounds of the city, just walking to a market (any kind) super close, my bed and all  of the luxuries that come with your comfortable city life! I’m not ready to go off the grid just yet BUT I am happy to share with you any and all of my experiences and tips if you want for your best travel life!! XO Tera

Aston Martin

What’s your Dream car? For years mine was an Aston Martin Vanquish. You know how long I had it one week! I took it back and said “here I can’t work this thing !  That was over ten years ago and now living here in Italy I drive a Mini Cooper S! I traded my Vanquish for a Jaguar which some may say is a downgrade but there’s no sense keeping a car you just can’t be comfortable in or drive is my opinion! I’ve owned a few of my dream cars over the years and the Aston Martin  still remains one of my favorites . They are  so beautiful! My girlfriend  Janelle was kind enough to loan me one for my Wheels and Heels Shoot http://www.wheelsandheelsmag.comthis past trip to Los Angeles, I hope you enjoy!! XO Tera
