Miami EXXXOTICA 2023
Miami Exxxotica is where it all began! Our 50th show anniversary was in Chicago but it was The Miami Beach Convention Center that first opened their doors to us in 2006 and I was there! Over the years Exxxotica changed venues and spent a few years in Ft. Lauderdale , but in 2018 we went back to Miami and I returned for the 2023 show . Loyal Fans http://tinylf.com/BbB7CanERp was our Spotlight booth sponsor again and they pampered us with Goody bags full of hot bikinis and great merchandise , massages , and cuban food! I got my Mexican food fix at http://ohmexicorestaurant.com . Dinner Friday night was at http://dirtyfrench.com The food was so good and it’s beautifully decorated and the service is exceptional . I actually flew into Florida a week early and was in Orlando . I’ve always wanted to go to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and it was amazing! I really liked it! I avoid these kinds of parks normally but Universal studios Orlando http://universalorlando.comwas so much fun! I got the three day pass and did both Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade and of course all the rides ! It took three hours to get to Miami and it was the first time I’ve actually driven in Florida LOL It kinda tripped me out because living in Italy for so long now and not driving everyday (I usually walk or bike ) I was like whoa the open road and I’m DRIVING! Watch out! I also ended up going to the Miami Beach Convention Center INSTEAD of the Miami Airport Convention center where the show had been held since 2018 so I guess old habits die hard! It was so good to see so many friends and meet new fans . See you at the next EXXXOTICA 2023 in New jersey !! You XO Tera
Miami Land of Sunshine

This Miami trip took place during the 2018 EXXXOTICA July 20-22 weekend. My birthday is July 25th so this trip was perfect ! We had little work and then lot of play.. I hadn’t been to Miami in a minute so I was happy to stay and play around the city for a week after the show. We stayed at Urbanica http://urbanicahotels.com It was really nice! The rooms have a clean white on white minimalist aesthetic. The rooms are a great size and its such a cozy space. There’s a rooftop pool and laundry on site which I love having in your hotel . The rooms also have a fridge which is something else I love having in my room . The property is so nice. There’s a cute little cafe to grab stuff and a nice bar with good tapas and snacks. I get laughed at by friends, fans even promoters because I don’t stay in a lot of 5 star hotels but to be honest I don’t want to pay 30$ for a pot of hot water when I just want a cup of tea. I need a fridge because I buy snacks and prefer to buy and stock up on bottled water from CVS .It’s a ROOM so if a 5 star hotel for one night is the price of a 3 star for a week I have more money for other stuff that’s my logic. This hotel is in a great location. You can walk to a great Italian restaurant, CVS, heaps of banks, the beach. They also have bikes. I rode a bike for the first time in ages and it’s so much more convenient to go around Miami Beach this way. It was about 2 km to Collins ave and the Lincoln Rd. mall. On the way everyday we would stop at Taquiza http://taquizatacos.com Their Michelada was SO GOOD and Spicy I had to have it everyday.. Hence why the bike riding was good for me ! We did Sunday Brunch at Planta http://plantarestaurants.com South Beach.. It’s a beautiful space and all vegan but very delicious, full of flavor and you won’t leave hungry.. I spent my birthday night at the Nobu Hotel. http://miamibeach.nobuhotels.com Nobu has always been one of my favorite restaurants. The hotel is very pretty and the service is good. Funny that we ended up staying in Miami an extra 5 days. We were supposed to head to Cuba but I couldn’t get a visa to travel there so we stayed in Miami… I’m hoping in 2020 to get back to Miami! Our friends opened a beautiful Italian restaurant in south beach so I’d like to pay another visit! XO Tera
